Computational Biophysics

Dr. Rajesh K. Murarka works on understanding the structure function relationship of proteins, enzymes, kinases and small biological molecules via Molecular Dynamics Simulations. The research carried out includes understanding the activation and deactivation mechanism of G-protein coupled receptors and kinases, the structure and dynamics of intrinsically disordered peptides and catalytic properties of GTPases.

Dr. Rati Sharma works on mathematical and computational modeling of stress-response and signal-response dynamics of various genetic pathways inside a living cell. This research is carried out via temporal and spatial Monte Carlo Simulations and subsequent Big Data analysis.
