Prospective Faculty

IISER Bhopal is looking for outstanding candidates in the broad field of Data Science for the DSE department. Candidates from all branches (natural sciences, economics, engineering, etc.) are welcome to apply. The department expects the candidates to advance their research either in (i) foundations of data science or/and (ii) applied data science in their domain of interest.

The candidates who wish to advance the theory and applications of data science using their interdisciplinary skill set are encouraged to contribute towards foundations of data science. The candidates are expected to be strong in theoretical foundations of Data Science.

The candidates who wish to advance their domain knowledge using data science tools and technologies are encouraged to contribute towards applied data science. The potential candidates are expected to be strong in the domain knowledge and have good foundations in Data Science theory and hands-on experience on Data Science related tools and technologies. The candidates should have demonstrated research in data science.
